My stay at Carnarvon House for 5 nights in the Carnarvon Room was remarkable. The owners, Terry and his mother, provided exceptional hospitality. The room was clean, and the unique common bathroom setup was well-maintained and convenient. Breakfast options catered to my dietary preferences, including delicious vegan meals. The proximity to local eateries and attractions made it easy to explore the charm of Georgetown without the hustle of busier areas.
The shared bathroom could lead to minor wait times during peak hours.

An oasis in the heart of George Town
Carnarvon House felt like a home away from home. The beautiful heritage design complemented by friendly service made it cozy. Breakfast each day was a delightful surprise, and the managers were incredibly accommodating.
However, the room's walls were thin, making it easy to hear footsteps and conversations from the corridor. Additionally, this meant the occasional disturbance during late nights or early mornings.

Loved the clean and spacious room! The fresh towels and daily snacks were a delightful surprise, but the lack of nearby sockets was a bit inconvenient. Would definitely stay again!

missingWrote a review on Oct 04shared bathroomwifi issues
Wow, where to start? The shared bathrooms were an exciting adventure, especially waiting for eternity just to use the facilities. And let's talk about the ‘quirky’ wifi that worked only on its mysterious schedule. Honestly, I expected a complimentary upgrade for such ‘unique’ experiences, but the staff seemed too busy to cater to my needs. Almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.

Perfect place for a group getaway! Free WiFi throughout and a tour desk made planning our adventures super easy. We loved having coffee and complimentary snacks available anytime. Definitely try local spots like Ping Hooi nearby for tasty food. Can’t wait to come back with the crew!
The Air Conditioner was a little fussy and could be quieter, which made sleeping a bit tricky at times.

cozy pillows, lovely decor, handy laundry service
The shared bathrooms could definitely use an extra toilet to avoid inconvenient waits!!! Plus, the air conditioning and shower setup feels dated and poorly optimized, making for a less-than-ideal experience when it matters most!!!

can't wait to come back.
I loved the cozy room with air conditioning and an attached private bathroom. The hardwood floors and flat-screen TV made it feel so homey. The shared bathroom was spotless, and there were extra towels and toiletries available. Delicious fruits and little cakes were always around. A water station for hot and cold drinks. Such a charming spot!

I enjoyed my stay for 5 nights in a spacious room with useful tea and coffee facilities. The location was great, close to attractions. I appreciated having my scooter parked right outside. The staff provided helpful tips for exploring the area, which made for interesting adventures. I also found it nice to have a continental breakfast available each morning.
Housekeeping wasn’t completed as expected, and the furnishings could use better upkeep.
